    Offset Links

Chain offset links (also called half buckles) are mainly used to adjust the chain length and reduce the difficulty of installation, especially when the sprocket structure is complex or the space is small. Its core functions are reflected in the following two aspects:
    Adjusting the chain length
Flexible adjustment of the chain length can be achieved by adding or removing half buckles, avoiding installation difficulties caused by the inability to adjust the sprocket center distance. For example, in motorcycle chain maintenance, half buckles can be quickly disassembled and assembled to adapt to different sprocket combinations. ‌
    Simplified installation process
The half buckle design makes it easier for the chain to pass through complex structures or small spaces, reducing the complexity of installation. At the same time, local adjustments can be completed without completely disassembling the chain during maintenance, improving maintenance efficiency. ‌
Note that the use of half buckles will slightly reduce the overall load-bearing capacity of the chain, and the connection status needs to be checked regularly and lubricated. ‌
