Service life, and in order to wear evenly, the number of teeth is preferably an odd number that is prime with the number of links.
c: Center distance and number of chain links: When the center distance is too small, the number of teeth meshing between the chain and the small wheel is small. If the center distance is too large, the sag of the loose edge will be too large, which will easily cause the chain to vibrate during transmission. Generally, the number of chain links should be an even number.
