roller chain

Use the chain tool:

Align the locking part of the chain tool with the locking position of the chain.
Use the knob to push the pin on the tool out of the pin on the chain to remove the chain.
Use a wrench:

If you don’t have a chain tool, you can use a wrench instead.
Hold the chain retainer with the wrench and push it onto the chain.
Align the opening of the chain connecting pin with the stop of the wrench, and pull the wrench downwards to remove the chain.
Manually remove the chain:

The chain can be removed manually without tools.
Catch the chain on the sprocket, and then force the chain open until it comes apart.
But this method requires a certain amount of strength and skill, and may cause hand injuries if you’re not careful.
Use your feet to help remove the chain:

If you are not strong enough with one hand, you can use your feet to help remove the chain.
Clamp the chain onto the sprocket, then tap the bottom of the chain with one foot and pull the chain outward with the other foot to complete the removal.
The above methods can be selected and used according to the actual situation and personal ability.
